The local team and health and wellbeing centre

This video features the health and wellbeing team, whose office base is currently at Teignmouth Community Hospital, talking about the way they work together to deliver community-based care across Teignmouth and Dawlish. They also talk about the benefits a new health and wellbeing centre in the heart of Teignmouth could bring.

Our proposal

In this video, Dr David Greenwell, a local GP who works closely with NHS Devon explains the background to the proposal as well as the proposal itself. Local GP Dr Elizabeth Brown also gives some background by explaining some of the challenges facing GP practices in Teignmouth.

Other videos

This video, which was filmed before COVID-19, was not produced specifically for this consultation. However, it explains the work of local charity Volunteering in Health, who are currently based at Teignmouth Community Hospital. The charity’s base is to move to the new health and wellbeing centre in the heart of Teignmouth. The charity supports local people to improve their health and wellbeing and works closely with the health and wellbeing team at the hospital.
