Vaccinations.

Stay informed, stay protected, stay well.

Vaccinations are important for keeping people healthy and preventing diseases.

They work by making your immune system stronger, help stop the spread of sickness, and can even make some diseases disappear over time.

It’s important that vaccinations are given on time for the best protection.

This page tells you who needs which vaccinations when and gives details of who you should contact and where you should go for the vaccinations you need if you live in Devon.

If you are not sure if your vaccinations are up to date, or which ones you have had you can contact your GP and ask for your vaccination record.

You can check which vaccines your children have had by checking your child health record, also known as your ‘red book’.

If you or your child have missed any routine vaccinations, contact your GP to make an appointment for a ‘catch up’ vaccine.
