Our Joint Forward Plan

Integrated Care Board (ICBs) and their partner trusts are required to publish a refreshed JFP before the start of each financial year, setting out how they intend to exercise their functions in the next five years.

Devon’s Joint Forward Plan (JFP), which was written in collaboration with partners across One Devon, was originally published in July 2023 and was refreshed in April 2024.

It describes how the health and care sectors plan to meet the challenges facing Devon, meet the population’s health needs and the strategic objectives set out in the Integrated Care Strategy over the next five years.

The plans outlined in the refreshed JFP have not significantly changed from the version published in 2023 although the structure of the plan has been amended and the content reduced in response to feedback.
