Matt combines 15 hours as a faculty project lead with a non-medical lead role in the pain team at Northern Devon Healthcare Trust.  Prior to Abi and Rhoda joining, Matt spent three months mainly focussed on establishing the faculty, identification and engaging with key stakeholders, as well as starting work on data and TECS toolkit deliverables (Table 1).  In April 2022, he began work on the ED&I deliverable.

Abi Hall – Faculty Project Lead

Abi is a community-based physiotherapist by background – primarily working with older people and has a particular interest in dementia. She has had several AHP leadership roles in the Midlands and the Southwest and has a particular interest in workforce development. She is also a post-doctoral research fellow at Exeter University currently undertaking a post-doctoral NIHR funded School of Primary Care Research Fellowship exploring treatments for people with advanced dementia following hip fracture. She is working part-time as a project lead for the faculty alongside her research role and is leading on several workstreams within the faculty.

The faculty includes direct representation of seven of the fourteen AHP professions, although they are often represented by other people who do attend. Ongoing work is being undertaken to increase the representation of more AHP professions as appropriate.
