The following indications are included within this guideline:
- Schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder.
- Moderate to severe manic episodes associated with bipolar I disorder.
- Severe tic disorders, including Tourette’s syndrome (after educational, psychological and other pharmacological treatments have failed)
- Adjunctive treatment in depression
- Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)
- Behaviour that challenges in autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Behaviour that challenges in adults with a learning disability
- Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
